Brent Hopper

Brent Hopper began playing music as a child starting with piano and moving on to guitar, mandolin, bass, drums and various other instruments. At age 16 he began his professional music career playing full time with several Grateful Dead cover acts in South Florida. He currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio & has been playing music and touring for more than 30 years across the United States and abroad with several different musical configurations that included Folk, Bluegrass, Irish & Blues sounds. His inspiration in music has always been drawn from his strong passion for history & the people of various cultures. The songs he sings tell the stories of their plights for freedom, liberty, love, and the joy of coming together through music.

He has recorded on numerous albums including 5 with his wife, Brittany Reilly, Achill Crossing, Marys Lane, The Grass Is Dead & various tracks on other studio releases. He is currently performing solo shows and various duo projects regionally as well as a few national dates to be announced in the coming months. Since 2019 he had been touring with Derek Warfield & the Young Wolfe Tones playing bass, guitar & singing & came off the road to assist his wife in opening a new Deli in their home town of Bay Village, OH.
